photo ?? (jpg.rem???)

I noticed recently that all of my photos that I'm taking have jpg.rem on them. It doesn't let me put them in my blackberry software; I don't know when it started or even how its configured to get it off. Any clues? I really dislike it, whatever it is & I love to fix it.
